We are open to inventive use of our land through partnership working if it fits in with our aims and vision. For example, we currently provide space for Holy Phok, a new Vitenamese restaurant in Hove, to grow their herbs and spices which are integral to their dishes. We also store beach groynes which can be used to support community projects. We are particularly interested in projects which can provide an income stream to support the therapeutic work we do, however, we are willing to explore all partnership ideas.
We have 6 acres of fertile land which provides:
- grassy wild areas
- willow woodland
- abundant hedgerows
- growing space - various sized beds
- facilities including a composting toilet and large wooden hut with clean water, some catering equipment and a gas stove
- a pizza oven (operational Spring 2017)
- outdoor fire stove with wooden seating area
Our work with other organisations:
We have strong partnership links with other organisations such as One Church, Sustainable Sussex, Grow, Centre for Ecotherapy, Transition Town Worthing, Plot 22, the Brighton & Hove Food Partnership and Upstream.
